Last friday during lecture, I had my very FIRST hypnosis...I had been waiting for it ever since I knew it was in the course outline. And the fact that it was done by a very cute lecturer, who by the way is an accomplished hypnotist and meditation expert and a psychologist who had been in practice before, is definitely a plus. I was like super excited and stuff..though I probably didn't look it since I had been slogging or trying my best to slog last week, trying to meet all the deadlines and trying to make myself find something to like about my SUCKY haircut. zy and yy will probably know. Coz the 1st sentence zy said to me tt day was "What did you do to your hair, AGAIN!!"...Notice the key word "AGAIN"...Yesh...since I always do things on impulse, more often than not, I botched things that I do. And the 2nd sentence she said was "You look like SHIT."...(hmm did she sae that?? ok my memory is not very good. BuT it's somewhere along those lines.)..

Ok back to hypnosis... granted, it wasn't much since it was a mass hypnosis and there was nothing..get it??!! NOTHING...grand or spectacular about it..none of the wooooowww... and strange things protrayed by novels and tv. Nobody did anything stupid. And seriously, I was NOT unconscious or anything. I knew perfectly well what was happening around me and what I was doing.

BUT for me, it was a seriously amazing experience..I mean I really felt something that I couldn't explain. For example, when prof asked us to lift our hands straight in front of us at shoulder length with the palms facing each other, and suggested that we would feel this magnetic force, I FELT it. My palms went closer and closer to each other of their own accord (or so I would like to think) like they were attracted to each other. Like magnets. And when I tried to pull them away from each other, I felt a force resisting. And all these was while my eyes were OPEN. ok..here's the worrisome part, my prof did sae it dun matter whether a person has his or her eyes open during hypnosis and s teng did attest to that...BUT I was still worried that I had somehow botched the whole thing coz it's weird how I can feel a force when I had my eyes open and not with them closed, which I did in the latter part of the hypnosis. So, am I more hypnotisable with my eyes open? Coz I daydream and stone too much?? One of these days when I've finished all my deadlines, I'm gonna ask prof.

After the whole thing, I felt weird...ok don't get excited...it's not the side effects or after effects of hypnosis..I don't know why BUT I felt weird and still feel it now...I can't explain.. and I'm frustrated coz I have to concentrate on my deadlines instead of try to figure out this weird feeling..

BUT no worries I'll figure it out...soon...and of course when I have the time I'll talk more about the hypnosis...Just so I won't forget it next time for how often would one get a chance to be hypnotised??!!
